Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By contacting Skyline Locksmith or using our locksmith services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all services provided by Skyline Locksmith, including emergency, residential, commercial, and automotive locksmith services.

2. Services Description

Skyline Locksmith provides professional locksmith services including but not limited to:

  • Emergency lockout assistance (home, vehicle, office)
  • Lock installation, repair, and replacement
  • Lock rekeying services
  • Car key replacement and programming
  • Master key system installation
  • Smart lock installation and programming
  • Access control systems
  • Security assessments

3. Service Estimates & Pricing

We provide free estimates over the phone based on the information you provide. Our technician will confirm the final price before beginning any work. Pricing may vary based on:

  • Time of service (standard hours vs. after-hours emergency)
  • Type and complexity of service required
  • Parts and materials needed
  • Service location

Note: You will always be informed of the total cost before work begins. There are no hidden fees.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services. We accept:

  • Cash
  • All major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
  • Debit cards
  • Mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay)

For commercial accounts, we may offer net-30 payment terms upon credit approval.

5. Liability Limitations

Skyline Locksmith is fully licensed and insured. Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to locks, doors, or frames, or for damages resulting from customer-provided information that is incorrect or incomplete. In emergency lockout situations, minimal damage may occasionally occur despite our best efforts to use non-destructive entry methods. Any such damage will be discussed with you before proceeding.

6. Warranty Information

We stand behind our work:

  • Labor Warranty: 90-day warranty on all labor and installation
  • Parts Warranty: Manufacturer's warranty on all locks and hardware
  • Key Warranty: Keys that don't work properly will be replaced at no charge

Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, abuse, or attempted forced entry.

7. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel a service request at any time before the technician begins work without charge. If you cancel after the technician has arrived but before work begins, a service call fee may apply. Once work has begun, full payment is required for completed services.

8. Proof of Ownership

For security purposes, we may require proof of ownership or authorization before providing lockout services or making keys. This protects you and ensures we are assisting the rightful owner. Acceptable forms include photo ID, registration, lease agreement, or utility bill matching the service address.

9. Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue. We are committed to customer satisfaction and will work to address any concerns. Disputes that cannot be resolved through direct communication may be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with Texas law.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any legal proceedings related to these terms shall be brought in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.
